Engineered to OEM standards, the Atom Drive’s pre-configured components simplified integration and created a cohesive EV architecture. Southfield Classics selected the SC31T, a modern electric adaptation of the 1950s Chevrolet 3100, as the debut platform for the Atom Drive. The SC31T would honor classic design while showcasing modern EV technology, requiring a drivetrain with high performance that didn’t compromise its nostalgic look.

DSC04692Thanks to the Atom Drive’s plug-and-play capability, Southfield Classics carried out a streamlined integration. Compatibility with Dakota Digital gauges and central touchscreen displays allowed all essential data—battery life, motor temperature, RPMs, and speed—to be presented without the need for custom modifications. Pre-programmed configurations minimized setup time, enabling the team to focus on bodywork and finishing touches.

ASP07285 (1)The Atom Drive powered the SC31T to impressive specifications, including 300 horsepower and 370 ft-lbs of torque from the Cascadia Motion iM-225 motor, and a 250-mile range from its 84kWh battery pack. CCS fast-charging also enabled quick recharges, offering uninterrupted driving enjoyment.
